Good grief! For fifty years, the characters in the Peanuts comic strip and animated specials entertained the masses with their silliness and thoughtfulness. Although the primary characters are children, these pint-sized people often have the insight, wisdom, and even self-doubt of adults. So which Peanuts character is most like you? Perhaps you are like Linus and have the soul of a philosopher. Maybe you're brass and bossy like Lucy or a cool cat like Schroeder. It could be you're more like the most famous one of all, Charlie Brown. He's filled with anxieties and questions but also a hopeful optimist willing to be anyone's best friend. Kind of like Pig-Pen, we'll get the dirt on which Peanuts character you most resemble. But watch out for the Red Baron. That blockhead might try to shoot down your dog house plane.
Zach has been riding the gondola of trivia wherever the waters take him. Although he’s not a named consultant on any major quiz TV shows, Zach has watched them all since infancy and will happily take up any challenge whether it be pub quizzes or high-stakes matches he isn’t afraid to show up. And showing up is 90% of the work!
One of the most unique things about the Peanuts comic strip and animated specials was that adults are rarely seen or discussed. Even though the main characters are all in grade school, they often are doing things that adults would traditionally do. When an adult made a rare appearance in the comic strip, they were typically only drawn from the legs down. In the animated specials, you would rarely see an adult, and when an adult spoke, their voice was the sound of a trombone. In the classic Thanksgiving special, Charlie Brown, Linus, and Snoopy prepared and hosted dinner all by themselves. Charlie Brown spoke more about his grandparents than his parents. Ironically, it has been revealed that Charlie Brown's father is a barber, which doesn't do him much good considering he's nearly bald at such a young age. Peanuts creator Charles Schulz has a straightforward explanation why the gang is, for the most part, all on their own. He said that adults simply did not interest him.
