In 1937, Disney released the first animated feature film ever: Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. They went on to create myriad culture-defining movies, complete with a string of horrible villains we all love to hate. Today, Disney is the single biggest manufacturer of entertainment, with products that range from toys and merchandise to TV shows, movies, and video games. Still, many of us grew up watching and sometimes identifying with the heroes, or maybe the villains, of the classics.
So, if you were a Disney villain, who would you be? Take this quiz and find out — you might surprise yourself. Get your friends involved and maybe you can start your own villainous alliance.

Those who prefer to get their facts in article format can find Haven all across the web, as well.
There is an old myth that Walt Disney started his now wide-spread film company when he saw a cute mouse appear in his living room. As with most entrepreneurial mythos, this is untrue, and, in some ways, almost an insult to the hard work it took for Disney to make his name in entertainment. Walt worked as a cartoonist for several newspapers. When he was laid off, he decided to work in the advertising industry while trying to start an animation business with his brother. That business didn't go well, but the next one shot off like a rocket. Contrary to popular belief, Mickey Mouse was not an inspiration, but we born — as with most creative genius — of necessity. The first character Disney created was Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, but he lost the rights to this character thanks to a legal loophole and some shady producers. Disney needed to come up with a new character, fast. He created Mortimer Mouse, but his wife detested the name. He changed it to appease her, Mickey Mouse was born, and the rest is history.
