Danganronpa is a popular survival horror visual novel series that's been adapted to video games and manga. In it, the evil bear Monokuma chooses 16 high school students, each talented in their own unique way, to murder each other. The original Danganronpa is a video game, though maybe not in the way you're thinking. Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc features a fusion of different styles of gameplay. It has aspects of your typical action-adventure game, alongside visual novel elements and even a dating simulator! Spike Chunsoft has released two more games in the main series: Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair and Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony. However, that's not where this franchise ends! There's also a 13 episode anime, a manga series, and even a few novels!
