Which Abbott Elementary Teacher Are You in the Classroom?

Teaching is one of the noblest professions — just ask the brave educators at Willard R. Abbott Elementary. Whether they're stocking classrooms with supplies that fell off a truck or converting their lesson plans into rap lyrics, there's nothing these teachers won't try to help their students. Given the measly funds, aging facilities, and apathetic administration, that's a task easier said than done. Only the brightest and toughest teachers can make it through the school year without pulling a Tina. Who's Tina? Exactly! Would you have what it takes to make it as a teacher at Willard R. Abbott Elementary? Or would you be one of the 17 out of 20 teachers who won't make it past their second year of instruction? Take this quiz to unlock your inner administrator. Whether you're an optimistic overachiever or an introverted newcomer, we'll help you discover which of Abbott's quirky characters best describes your teaching style.

Did you know?

Abbott Elementary creator Quinta Brunson began her career as a meme

Before she stepped into the hilarious role of 2nd-grade teacher Janine Teagues, Quinta Brunson was an aspiring comedian posting short comedy skits on Instagram. One of those videos, an installment in a series called "The Girl Who's Never Been on a Nice Date," went viral and launched one of the most widely shared memes of 2014 — "Oh, he got money!" It didn't take long for the multi-talented writer/producer to sign contracts with BuzzFeed Video, YouTube Red, and Facebook to create exclusive content. Brunson also landed guest-starring roles on multiple comedy series, including the Emmy-nominated "A Black Lady Sketch Show." Abbott's executive producers Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacker met Brunson while working on a CW show about space cops and aliens. She pitched them her idea for a mockumentary series about teachers, inspired by Brunson's real-life mother, who worked in the Philadelphia public school system for 40 years. They loved the concept, and apparently, so do the viewers.

So, stop stressing. Just click on the answer that suits you best, and enjoy the ride. These quizzes are just for fun but who knows – you might just learn something about yourself along the way!
