Since then, it’s gone through multiple scripts, several directors, and enough production delays to fill a Creeper’s diary. Originally set to release in 2019, the film faced rewrites, reshuffles, and a pandemic that pushed everything back. Now, over ten years later, it’s finally happening—with a cast that includes Jason Momoa, Jack Black, and some of Minecraft’s most beloved YouTubers. Turns out, building a movie takes a lot longer than building a base.
