The 1990s were the beginning of a new era in human history for many reasons. Computers started to become more accessible and more useful to the general public, chiefly with the advent of the World Wide Web. The USSR had come to an end, and with it, the Cold War was officially over as well. The 1990s brought us some of our favorite pop culture icons as well. Celebs such as Ellen DeGeneres and Michael Jordan. However, there were also a lot of weird and tragic things that happened during this decade. They include the OJ Simpson trial, the Nany Kerrigan Attack, and Princess Diana’s death.
Bill Clinton was impeached for perjury as well, and the United States felt the brunt of domestic terrorism during the Oklahoma City Bombing. However, great scientific discoveries were also made in the 1990s, including the cloning of a sheep and the unearthing of a full T-Rex Skeleton. It was definitely a busy decade in world history, so how much do you remember? Take this quiz to find out!

In 1995, The United States of America was hit with a horrific domestic terror attack in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Two men, Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols, loaded a truck with bombs on April 19 of that year and set them off under the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building, killing 168 people. 680 other people were injured in the attack, and it also destroyed one-third of the building. The blast also destroyed or damaged 258 buildings within a 16 block radius, and caused an estimated $652 million in total damage. McVeigh was put to death by lethal injection in 2001. Nichols is still being held in what is known as "Bomber's Row" in the Super Maximum Security Prison in Florence, Colorado, sharing a cell block with other bombers like Ted Kaczynski, the Unabomber.
