Quiz Writer
Charlie took to the written word like a fish takes to water. That is to say; they found themselves immersed in literature from before they were born. They've been known to tell their friends how they can still remember the passages their parents read to them when they were in utero - Emily Dickinson, Jane Austen, and a bit of Hunter S. Thompson thrown in to balance it out. Charlie keeps their feet wet, whether they're whipping up pithy one-liners to tease your brain or busy working on their second novel (the first one is available on Amazon under a pen name they refuse to disclose). You’re sure to get a kick out of giggle-worthy explanations and outrageous hints, and still come away feeling like you’ve just expanded your knowledge base.

The family members at the heart of HBO's "Succession" are not based on actual people, but they take their cues from real-life international media magnates. The series creator, Jesse Armstrong, adapted the story from a script he wrote about the Murdochs, the family behind Fox News, The Wall Street Journal, and The Times of London. Taking inspiration from other powerful households like the Hearsts and the Redstones, he created Logan Roy and his empire, Waystar Royco. When Adam McKay came onto the project as executive producer, he agreed that the Roy family business should be a media conglomerate. According to McKay, media families are more intriguing and the most dramatic.
"Succession" films in New York City, where producers agree the locations make the show feel more authentic. For example, Logan Roy's apartment is located on Billionaires' Row, with incredible views of The Metropolitan Museum of Art and Central Park. Waystar Royco's offices are located at One World Trade Center, where the Manhattan city skyline is visible from inside the tower.
In a case of life imitating art, HBO's parent company, Time Warner, merged with AT&T in 2018 as part of a controversial and highly-publicized deal.
