Never Have I Ever debuted on Netflix in 2020 and has been widely applauded for championing South Asian representation on American TV streaming services. The series follows Devi Vishwakumar, played by Canadian actress Maitreyi Ramakrishnan. Devi is a 15-year-old high-school student dealing with grief, disability, romance, sex, and a whole lot more. Despite the deep subjects, the series is moving, sweet at times, and downright hilarious at others.
