Asperger syndrome, known widely as Asperger’s, is an older diagnosis for a developmental disorder that now falls under the much broader umbrella of autism spectrum disorder. People who have Asperger’s may have difficulty socializing, have fewer things that interest them, desire uniformity and structure, or possess distinctive, unique skills or strengths. Many people who have these characteristics wonder if they might have Asperger syndrome or another autism spectrum disorder. This quiz serves to show you how likely it is that you have Asperger’s. Remember, this is not an appropriate substitute for a proper diagnosis, though results may indicate that you should see a specialist.

Charlie took to the written word like a fish takes to water. That is to say; they found themselves immersed in literature from before they were born. They've been known to tell their friends how they can still remember the passages their parents read to them when they were in utero - Emily Dickinson, Jane Austen, and a bit of Hunter S. Thompson thrown in to balance it out. Charlie keeps their feet wet, whether they're whipping up pithy one-liners to tease your brain or busy working on their second novel (the first one is available on Amazon under a pen name they refuse to disclose). You’re sure to get a kick out of giggle-worthy explanations and outrageous hints, and still come away feeling like you’ve just expanded your knowledge base.
Did you know?
Everyday, people aren’t the only ones who have difficulty figuring out if they have Asperger’s. Many professionals struggle with the diagnostic process, and a comprehensive assessment usually involves a large team of experts. The difficulty of diagnosis stems from our lack of understanding of the condition, as well as Asperger syndrome symptoms resembling those of many other conditions. Personality disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, depression, social anxiety disorder, Tourette syndrome, bipolar disorder, and many others are all candidates as a differential diagnosis for Asperger’s.

(Two plus two will always be four, but every Golden Girls character is equally awesome.)
So, stop stressing. Just click on the answer that suits you best, and enjoy the ride. These quizzes are just for fun but who knows – you might just learn something about yourself along the way!
