American Horror Story is a popular anthology series that first debuted in 2011. Despite its changing storylines, the show maintains the same spine-tingling tone with a large swath of actors taking on new roles each season. In January 2020, the creators of AHS announced the program had been renewed for at least three additional seasons. If you're a big fan of AHS, this is welcome news, but how much do you really know about your favorite show? Take this quiz to find out if you're an American Horror Story rookie or a complete fanatic.

Charlie took to the written word like a fish takes to water. That is to say; they found themselves immersed in literature from before they were born. They've been known to tell their friends how they can still remember the passages their parents read to them when they were in utero - Emily Dickinson, Jane Austen, and a bit of Hunter S. Thompson thrown in to balance it out. Charlie keeps their feet wet, whether they're whipping up pithy one-liners to tease your brain or busy working on their second novel (the first one is available on Amazon under a pen name they refuse to disclose). You’re sure to get a kick out of giggle-worthy explanations and outrageous hints, and still come away feeling like you’ve just expanded your knowledge base.

Did you know?

Every AHS season is connected

At the outset, the writers of American Horror Story decided to create an analogy tv show. Each new season, the storyline, characters, and plot of the show changes. From an outsider's perspective, this is a simple premise, and each season seems unrelated to the previous. However, in 2014, one of the AHS producers, Ryan Murphy, revealed that every season is indeed connected. At present, there is no confirmed explanation as to how the individual seasons are related to one another. Although, the return or particular characters, such as Dr. Charles Montgomery from 'Murder House' in the 'Hotel' season, may be clues as to what the link is.
