Difficult people have a lot in common. While their level of awkwardness may vary, they often exhibit many of the same personality traits, including callousness, grandiosity, aggressiveness, suspicion, manipulativeness, dominance, and risk-taking behaviors.

If you or someone you know lacks empathy, acts superior to others, is short-tempered, suspicious, and a manipulative thrill-seeker, then it would be fair to assume that they or you are indeed exasperating. Nevertheless, as with any personality trait, there are varying degrees, and even the most aggravating person will have some redeeming qualities.

What's more, if the person in question falls within the mild to moderate category of difficulty, with the right mindset, they may change for the better. Although, for this to happen, they need to acknowledge their faults and take active steps to be the best version of themselves.
